I PITTY THE FOOL THAT DOESN'T LOVE CHIA

I PITTY THE FOOL THAT DOESN'T LOVE CHIA

Frequently, I am forced to slap myself in the forehead and declare “DUH!” for my amazing level of dorkiness.  Here is one example.  Did you realize that the chia popular in food stuffs is the same chia as used to make chia heads?  Me neither!  Duh!  It is also in the mint family (Lamiaceae) along with catnip, peppermint, and menthol.  So, the mint family could be a pretty crazy evening out.  Imagine enjoying some peppermint tea on the porch, while you are participating in your favorite form of menthol (Vicks menthol rub, menthol cigs…).  You are casually trimming your chia head into a new style, while cats are going crazy on the “nip” (catnip that is).  Yep, that is how I roll.

If you have no idea what a chia head is, check out http://chia.com.  There is even a Chia Mr. T where you can watch his mohawk grow!   I pity the fool who doesn’t love chia.
