ODE TO SNOT (PART 3)

Snot can be used to reduce friction.  I know what some of you are thinking and you are right.  The vagina does produce a slick snot!  For those of you who were not thinking about that… whoops.  Many organisms ooze snot over the outside of their body to help them move easier.  Earthworms are a notable example that you may have experienced.  Slugs, snails and other mollusks also use snot to reduce friction and glide.  When you see a slug trail, you are really seeing a snot trail.
