THE HALLOWEEN SERIES - ZOMBIES

Imagine a zombie apocalypse transferred by fungal spores floating through the air.  Once the spore hits you, the fungus begins to grow and you are under its control like Professor Quirrell in “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone”.  The Voldemort-like fungus directs you to trek through the jungle until you reach the ideal spot and die in a lock-jawed position.  Now the fungus begins to grow to twice the length of your body and emerge from the back of your head.  The fungus prepares to release more zombie-forming spores, perhaps to infect your loved ones.  All the while, you had no control.
