Today is the first day of fall!  Here in the Ozarks we are about to experience a cornucopia of biological tidbit worthy activities.  Stay tuned!  Today, however let’s take a moment to appreciate the first day of fall which is also the autumnal equinox.  This is one of two days a year when our amount of sunlight is equal to the amount of night.  After today, night will begin to overtake the day; peaking with the shortest day of the year on December 21/22.  Today also happens to be my parent’s 63rd wedding anniversary!  WhooHOO!
