STOP AND EAT THE ROSES
When I was born, my father brought my mother roses. The doctor asked to eat them.
Roses are an excellent source of vitamin C. You can eat the petals and even make a jelly from them. If you allow the flower to mature on the plant, the petals will fall off and leave behind the marble-sized fruit. A cup of the fruit (aka “hips”) contains as much vitamin C as 12-dozen oranges.
